OC60A Dielectric Tester
Alcoa Wenatchee Works 0C60A with TC/VDE & TC/DE test cells equipped with motor-driven circulator designed to be tested at 500 volts per second in accordance with ASTM standard D1816-74 (copy of which is included). The model OC-60A is a portable liquid dielectric tester designed to test the breakdown voltage of liquid dielectrics. This unit is fully automatic and are provided with KV memory meter, automatic rate of rise of 500, 2000 and 3000 volts per second in addition to manual dwell at any voltage.
Comes with power cord, user manual, certificates, schematics and additional paperwork including original invoice. Test cells will be packed separately but shipped in the same package as the test unit per user manual instructions.

TC/VDE Test Cell Specifications
The TC/VDE Test Cell (oil cup) determines the dielectric strength of insulating liquids in conjunction with HIPOTRONICS portable Liquid Dielectric Testers. This cell is equipped with a motor-driven circulator 0.080 inch and 0.040 inch gap gauges, and two VDE electrodes, one of which is adjustable and may be fixed to provide the desired gap via a set screw.
The TC/VDE Test Cell tests at 500 volts per second in accordance with ASTM Standard D1816-7 4.
TC/DE Test Cell Specifications
The TC/DE Test Cell is equipped with two one-inch diameter disc electrodes, one of which is adjustable and may be fixed to provide the desired gap via a set screw. The TC/DE Test Cell tests at 3,000 volts per second in accordance with ASTM Standard D877-67.
